The CMP-300 Composite Mixer/ Distribution System

The CMP-300 Composite Mixer/DA was developed by BDI engineers to solve the problem of not having enough inputs to accommodate the growing number of signals broadcasters want to apply to an FM exciter. The CMP-300 has a three input mixer which can combine FM/TV stereo composite, SCA, SAP and/or RBDS generator signals into one composite output to be applied to an FM or TV aural exciter. The distribution amplifier incorporated into the unit allows for up to three exciters to be driven with the same mixed output.

There is complete input level mixing control and output level trim from the front panel. Inputs can be switched from balanced to unbalanced from the rear panel.

Use the CMP-300 as a solution to not enough inputs on an exciter or to apply identical signals to up to three exciters without having to have two or three stereo, SCA, SAP or RBDS generators. For a fraction of the cost of a single stereo, SCA, SAP, or RBDS generator the CMP-300 saves you the cost of having a second generator to drive a back up system.
